I entered this cake in the North Texas Cake Show in Dallas this past weekend, and took 2nd place in the Adult Intermediate Wedding Cake division. Not bad for my first time to enter a show! I got some great feedback and tips on how to improve the design.

Top tier is silver leaf on gray fondant, with a teal fantasy peony and silver dragees in the center.
Middle tier is a double barrel covered in charcoal gray fondant, with the Tiffany style swag Cake Lace, followed by a pattern of lace from the Eternity mat. Silver dragees form the border of both tiers, before the black ruffled rosettes adorn the bottom 10" tier. It took about 9+ hours to create those ruffles. Whew!
