1st Cake After Surgery: Lisa Frank

This is the 1st cake I have made since having surgery 2 months ago! I have TOS (Thoracic Outlet Syndrome) and I had to have my 1st Rib and scalene muscles on my right side (dominant side) removed! The surgery caused immediate but thankfully not permanent nerve damage in my hand & arm! I couldn’t feel or moved my hand or arm! It took up until about 2 weeks ago to feel like my hand was some-what normal again!

So to make this cake was a huge milestone for me!!

This cake was inspired by the famous Lisa Frank Horse! I made everything out of fondant! I took a few progress pics you can find them on my FB page but feel free to message me if you would like to see them! The face was hand-painted and dusted.

TFL!!
