This cake was for a first birthday – she wanted everything girly and pretty and sparkly and pink! I pink ombre fondant ruffles on the bottom tier with gum paste roses mixed in. The middle tier was edible sequins. The top tier had fondant pearls, real rhinestones and more pink ruffles and an edible sequined “1”. The sizes were 6", 7" and 8" tiers.
