I am so thrilled to reveal this cake- this cake was created as part of an Easter Cake Collaboration.

From the very beginning, I envisioned my design for the Easter Collaboration Cake to be lighthearted and playful in character.

After creating preliminary sketches of Easter eggs nestled beneath an imaginative garden of flowers, I realized that it felt reminiscent of Lewis Carroll’s story Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland.

With this in mind, I felt that the mysterious and iconic white rabbit would make a delightful focal point for my design. My goal was to keep the white rabbit soft and simple in order to contrast the brightly colored flowers surrounding him while creating unity in the overall whimsical style of the cake.
