My clients requested this for their main wedding cake (they were totally into scary zombie movies). His hands were motorized and moved up and down. This was done back when I didn’t do much cake sculpting, hence the ridiculous square body. What was I thinking?!
The head was modeled from RKT and further modeled/covered with fondant and colored with various petal dusts. The colors of the tux and vest matched the groom’s. The hands were gum paste/fondant. I had to use actual sleeve cuffs to allow the hands to move up and down.The entire body, which was “life”-sized, was all cake. The “hair” was rice noodles. SO much fun to create!
