Randy de Puniet Shark Helmet Cake

Those of you that know me, know I love motorbikes as much as I love cake!

So when I was asked last week to create a cake for one of the World’s top MotoGP riders, Randy de Puniet, from his fiancee, Lauren to celebrate their 2nd anniversary I was beyond excited.

I created a cake replica of Randy’s helmet and we delivered it Silverstone for the British MotoGP.

The cake was a super rich chocolate cake with chocolate ganache and buttercream filling. All hand-carved and handcut decorations. I did want to handpaint the cake, but do to time restraints sugarpaste was the best option.

Randy, Lauren and the Aspar Race team loved the cake and said it was the coolest cake in the World :o)
