There are many many tenement blocks like this in Glasgow, and I’m sure other UK cities. They are usually in red or blonde sandstone, this one was based on a particular street and was a present for a client who was particularly pleased with his estate agent to give as a thankyou :) It seems quite a humble cake after the big wedding cakes, but I think it was a personal one :) The photo isn’t great, my phone was in the process of dying during last week when I made this, and now it is dead :(
