Ice Bucket with Beer Bottles and Ice

This two tier, 100% edible cake was an order I received last year. The bottles were made using Isomalt and because I was concerned about the fact that Isomalt can have an adverse, and probably unwelcome! effect if eaten in too greater quantity, I decided to make the ‘ice’ from sugar. It worked perfectly!

I really was thrilled with the way the ice came out. I was so worried about it being yellow, but managed to time it perfectly.
