Hi everyone 😊 so this cake was not a cake I had been asked to make !! I originally had been asked to do a speedway track ‘Easy’ I thought to myself ! Turns out not so much !! After spending around six hours on the cake I was beside myself it looked dreadful I had to admit cake defeat ! Luckily it was for my friends grandad who is turning 90 and she was very understanding . I then made this cake which is a copy of his racing bib I have also included a picture of a fruit cake with the birthday boy in action back in 1950 . Thanks so much for looking x much love Lisa x
