Very Hungry Caterpillar Cake

Very Hungry Caterpillar cake for a 1st birthday. Cake was covered in fondant with fondant details. I had a hard time with the fondant on this cake, it totally cracked the next day during transport and the border of the bottom bulged out :( Thankfully I had time to fix it while I was waiting for the person to pick it up so I added little dots and changed the bottom to a ribbon border (it was originally dots like the 2nd tier). No idea why/what happened but thankful I was able to fix it. If anyone has suggestions why the bottom of the bottom tier would bulge out like that please let me know! It did have dowel supports in it :)
