Man on the Moon Cake

Man on the Moon cake for my sons birthday today, This is made using the ball pan from Wilton to make a rich chocolate cake it was then covered in ganache that I moulded into the craters and left to set, its then covered in sugar paste and the craters dusted with brown dust colouring then topped with my handmade astronaut.

Lizzie I looked everywhere for some inspiration for this cake but there was none to be had so just went with the flow and did it off the top of my head, the wee figure is from a book I have think its a wilton one not too sure..! Glad you both like it..!
