A sparkly lady bug cake for Marlee’s 3rd birthday. The lady bug was chocolate cake made in the Wilton mini wonder mold pan covered in buttercream and fondant. Top tier is chocolate and bottom tier is strawberry, both frosted with buttercream with fondant decorations. The little lady bug’s face is from Cakes by Kerrin’s absolutely precious lady bug. I used Peggy Does Cakes’ tutorial for covering a cake board for the first time on this cake, and I can’t believe how easy it was! TFL!
