I have been having a blast playing with wafer paper of late. So when I started sketching this cake, little did I know I would end up making roses with it! I never thought I could make a decent rose without gumpaste, and now I am a wafer paper addict. This new medium has a learning curve, and theres so much one can really do! The color palette was clients request, I used the moroccan onlay in marble of white and pink, to break the simplicity.
This wedding cake is very special to me, since this is the first time I have used wafer paper almost exclusively!
