55th Wedding Anniversary

I adore my parents. They celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary today which is completely amazing and a blessing to me. Dad has had variable poor health in the last 2 years, but his love for my mum never wanes. I made a tiny 10cm 3 tier cake to help them celebrate – only enough for them both, to represent how truly special their bond is. Chocolate fudge cake with layers of home made lemon curd, raspberry puree and belgian chocolate ganache. As we say in Italy, auguri per cento anni (best wishes for 100 more years).

Beautiful! My parents will be celebrating their 55th Anniversary next Aug (2015). I am working on a cake design for them. It’s wonderful to see a great love last through the years. Your parents look like a beautiful couple!
