THE LION, THE CAKE & THE WOODLAND
One of last weeks cakes for a very special little girl!
The story I created here was printed on this little girls personalised menu, & was inspired by the reality behind this sweet & chocolate filled centred cake. This was a joy & pleasure to make XxXxX

THE LION, THE CAKE & THE WOODLAND

Once upon a time there was a beautiful little girl who had discovered a glistening white lion. The little girl began to wonder ‘What if this Lion was magic….what if …it wasn’t real… & I could eat it all up!’

The excitable lion had heard the little girl & decided to surprise her. He decided to ask his friends at Riviera Couture Cakes for a little Christmas help & sparkle! “Could you please, help me bake & create the most marvellous & chocolaty of cakes in the land?” The team at Riviera Couture Cakes were deliciously excited. They all gathered together: Snowy Owl, Equine Horsy, Sir Tin Man, Little miss marshmallow & My fair candyfloss!

Off they went, arm in arm down the glittery, snowy white cobbled path. And with a hop, skip & a jump, they landed inside their winter wonderland kitchen.. & began to bake!

With much Christmas cheer & as the Riviera magic commenced…after a while, all went silent. Snowy Owl was clapping his wings sternly to gather everyone around.
“ Today our work has come to an end….with pleasure & joy I give you…The Lion, The Cake & The Woodland.” All the animals cheered & danced a merry dance. “It is now time to deliver another piece of SCRUMPDIDLYUMPTIOUS to a special little girl!!”

TWO DAYS LATER -

“Hello” said the magical cake to the little girl. “I am a rich, Smooth chocolate Truffle Cake. I have a Melt In Your Mouth Texture & adore being eaten at room temperature” he said. “If you like chocolate then you will LOVE ME. I have a layer of marzipan & sugarpaste too…I am a Christmas chocolate truffle cake you see. In my middle there is hidden Christmas treasure too….can you find it?”

The little girl & her family dug into the cake. Moment’s later, there before their very eyes lay the magic Christmas treasure! The little girls mummy & grandma gently said “You must now make a wish with the Christmas treasure & let the lion know which sugar animal you would like next Christmas?” The whole family laughed & ate until they couldn’t eat anymore!
