My friend’s husband contacted me wanting to make a surprise birthday cake for her. She’s an excellent photographer, so he asked for her camera on top, but gave me design freedom on the cake, just saying she loved winter colors. Well, so do I, so I was excited!

I marbelized the fondant in ice blue, teal & white, and accented with a brilliant silver molded border & a silver icicle painted effect on top. The cake is dark chocolate with cream cheese filling & dark chocolate ganache. The camera is rice krispy treats with fondant & edible images.
