My daughter will perform her final collage recital tomorrow evening. She will be playing it all solo, for an hour, just she and her flute! She requested cupcakes for the reception. I have made the cupcakes for the reception, but I am surprising her with this cake. (She will graduate in May as a music teacher! ) I am very excited for her and very proud of her! 8" 5" lemon cake with seedless strawberry preserves, covered in fondant with edible image sheet music, hand cut fondant ‘keys’, and gumpaste red roses. (I purchased the roses) It saved me a lot of time! The ribbon was hand painted with pearl lustre dust and lemon extract.
