Gardening lover's 60th birthday cake!

I have seen several gardening cakes in my internet searches and was just dying for someone to ask me to do one so that I could put my twist on the theme and lo and behold, someone finally did. The recipient loves his gardening (particularly his carrots and beetroot) and is the proud owner of two chocolate labradors. So, in celebration of these facts, all of these things were included in the design. The figures of the man and dogs were made from gumpaste and everything else from sugarpaste. The soil on the veg was a fine sprinkling of cocoa powder. The cake was a mocha chocolate sponge with a chocolate buttercream filling and the ribbon used was East of India. :o)
