I made this for my boyfriend Sisters wedding which was this weekend. Really pleased with the end result. Kate’s theme was white roses and she had a white dress and sprinkled little diamonds on the tables. I used edible diamonds on the cake as the centre for some of the flowers which worked well with the diamonds sprinkled on the cake table. The top cake is a 6 inch base 3 layers of sponge with a 4 inch top cake with 2 layers of sponge. I find the smaller cakes so much harder to cover and it was really warm which made it a challenge to stop it from sagging but I got there in the end.
