Purple Power

Purple Power

This cake was created for a Yoga Master, Arun Sir’s 60th birthday. This was one of those cake which goes into my “to-cry-for” list. The day we created this beauty, humidity level in Bangalore was at the highest point !!! Everything were just not in the right place !! First the fondant is sweating crazily, and then the edible lace mix was acting up. As the lace was too soft to airbrush colour on, we have to resort to hand paint the lace in gold ! Took some time , late for delivery but our lovely client was really understanding and gave us more than enough extra time to slowly work on the finishing. The result was this beauty – Purple Power that I’m pretty satisfied with – with all the hiccups along the way tho ~ #purplepower #ilovemyclient
