Fun Cake for a little guy turning five! Bottom tier was vanilla buttermilk with vanilla buttercream filling, top tier was chocolate cake with chocolate ganache filling, both covered in fondant. I used thick scrapbooking paper to make the “box” that slipped over the top tier :) The toys were all purchased from a local toy store, all other details were fondant.

I did – I first covered the top tier (it was a small, 6” round cake) in brown fondant, then used thick brown scrapbooking paper to form each side of the “box”. I taped it together on the inside (making my top flap folds before placing on the cake) then slipped it over the top. Hope this helps!
