A lady from my church ordered a cake for her daughter’s baby shower, but just gave me the colors and size that she wanted and left it up to me to do whatever I wanted. I saw this cake in an American Cake Decorating Magazine and followed their tutorial. 12×18 sheet cake, pacifier is made with two 8 " round cakes and a ball cake. Done in all buttercream. Embellishment is a ribbon bow.
This is the cake that aggravated my tennis elbow so bad that I had to stop decorating cakes for months. When I started up again, I decided to do the decorations in fondant and gumpaste. It is just recently that I started to do some buttercream piping again.
