I LOVE doing smash cakes…and I just got around to getting a set of 4-inch aluminum cake pans, so I was super excited to finally use them! When I was shown the invitation for Emily’s 1st birthday party, I was thrilled, because I love pink and orange and green as a combo!
I did 2 types of buttercream ruffles on this little cake, and everything else is hand-sculpted fondant decorations. The little bear was so fun to make…esp when I put a leaf on her little head. Ha! And I am very happy with the “1”….I thought the vine around it ties it in nicely with the harvest theme. Just loved doing this tiny cake!

I also made 2 dozen cupcakes to match.
