I made this cake for a young lady celebrating her 18th Birthday. She is very stylish so this was designed with her in mind. Sponge was Madagascan vanilla with raspberry jam & buttercream. I’ve previously moulded the heels by hand but thanks to the wonderful invention of silicone putty, I made a mould using one of my own heels. I’ve not done a shoe for a while so it took longer than expected to make it but I was pleased with how it turned out.
