This cake was made for a sweet little 1 yr old named Faith. Her mother gave me complete creative freedom and I just went with what I always wanted to do. I love elephants and I’ve always admired Peggy Porschen’s rose tower so I tried to mix the two. Had no idea it would take SO many roses! Cake itself is Dark Chocolate Fudge with sweetened whipped cream filling, then a coating of swiss meringue buttercream and strawberry flavored fondant on the bottom. Top is the same with Satin Ice vanilla fondant. Oh, and the elephant’s name is ‘Rosie’ :)

Whitecrafty – Oh, thank you so much. I really got attached to that little elephant and the roses… well, I definitely thought I would need less than I did. I started timing myself and found it took me around 5 minutes to make one… and I ended up making 45! It was worth it though, the woman sent me pictures of her baby just as happy as could be sitting next to the cake :) It made my day (and so do all your wonderful compliments!) Have a great Sunday!
