This is my first ever handbag cake. I was really pleased with the finished design. I baked 2 8 inch square pans and made the length of the bag 10 inches long and cut 3 2 1/2 inch width pieces and stacked them on top if each other to reach a height of 6 inches. All the chains were handmade out of fondant and painted gold.
