This was for a friends company ‘Wolken’ they just turned 3. It is a two tired cake. The bottom tire is 7" and is a pineapple flavour. The top tire is 5" and is a blueberry flavour.

The company is into cloud computing hence all the clouds. The clouds and the buildings on the cake are hand painted and the 3d clouds are made of fondant.

Some of you already know that I was having trouble with my fondant for this one. Since I always use whipped cream frosting I end up with sticky fondant. I would not be able to paint this cake with sticky fondant. I was able to successfully resolve that problem. I filled my cakes with a generous amount of whipped cream and frosted them with flour buttercream. So now the cake did not sweat as much, the fondant was nice and dry ready for me to paint.
