The biggest challenge I found with this cake was the lid of the piano! I originally made it out of flower paste, then pastilage but as it was very hot and humid despite it drying for several days it drooped in the middle as soon as I attached it.

In the end I sandwiched a thin piece of cake card between sugar paste. Why I didn’t do that to begin with I’ll never know!
