This cake was made for a very special occasion. It is to celebrate 1 yr of sobriety. They wanted the cake to resemble their book and chips achieved to date.

This was my first time making a wood grain effect and a book cake so I had two learning experiences which was great. The chips are fondant.

The cake is an 10 × 8 white cake with whipped milk chocolate ganache inside.
