Damask covered wedding cake with sugar Calla Lilies and Daisies and edible red ribbon.

This cake was an ordeal to decorate. Everything was on time until I started the damasks. The damask onlay was a challenge to use to say in the least. I’ve used the onlays before with no issues, but the damask one. Wowies. It took 8 hours to get them on and then get the black goo that got all over the cake from them cleaned off. In the end, you could only see black smudges in a few places.
