Made this wafer paper rose after having a play with wafer paper for the first time a few weeks ago. I was using it to make an element to be used on a special project and was SO taken with the medium, that my mind started spinning with the possibilities! I ended up playing around and coming up with this stylized rose which I love precisely because it is not a natural shape for a rose but has all the qualities that a lovely rose has. Quite a few people asked me how I created it so I actually took the plunge and created my first ever not-for-charity paid tutorial. I have attached photos of it coloured as well, the first in a hot pink and the second in a saffron.
