This cake was created for a Caribbean themed party for a gentleman turning 70. The cake is vanilla sponge with vanilla buttercream and raspberry jam. The bamboo is mmf, painted with food paste colours. The butterfly/feather creation is by Gisela Graham. The hibiscus flowers were hand-cut. Inspiration came from Cakelava and The Caketress.
