Bead lady

Bead lady

I grew up with an artsy mom and she had a huge collection of Ndebele artwork from blankets to vases and on.
I developed a love for beads along the way too and just have so much respect for these ladies.
The patients they must have and those hands just working all the time.
So I have been dying to do a Ndebele lady, they are so beautiful.

I can’t tell you how homesick I feel looking at this outstanding creation !!!!!! Wow …. I still have my mum’s beads she collected and I bought her a herera woman made out of their vibrant fabrics which sat in her home right up until she passed away … I adore your creation… Pinned!!!
