This cake was 2ft tall (3 including the sails), had tiers of chocolate mud cake, red velvet cake, carrot cake and raspberry ripple sponge…and even the sails are edible!

It was my first bake after having my baby boy 10 weeks earlier, and a bit of a challenge given our mini heat wave. Great fun though! And I’m pleased to say that it survived delivery, by boat, to a fort on the Solent (off Portsmouth UK).
