Attack of the slugs

The brief for this cake was a cake covered in slugs. Apparently this was an in-joke in the family.
The cake is all chocolate and all the decorations are sugarpaste/gumpaste.

I must admit it did look a bit weird having a load of slugs drying on the dining room table, when I was preparing for it.Julia you need a pet chicken or duck to get rid of yours. They work brilliantly.
