Crow and Books Cake

I made this cake for a teacher who was retiring. He loves crows, and the books were named after the attributes that my daughter found most endearing about him. The client that I created it for let me have complete artistic control, which I always appreciate!

Thank you, Callie! We worked hard on this one in the terrible heat and humidity. Sam was sooooo frustrated that the feathers wouldn’t dry; he went out and bought a dehumidifier.
