My tent cake was made for my sons cubscout blue and gold party. I’ve made cakes before for the cub scouts but this was estimated to feed well over 500 people. it should have only fed 200+ people but my husband, the engineer, thought he knew how to estimate serving sizes more than his cake artist wife… and he doubled the cake in size. which resulted in a lot of waste of cake. and lots of second servings… lol the great thing about this cake was that while this cake is 9×13×12 I was able to roll out an entire ball of fondant and without ripping covered the entire cake in one swoop..that was the highlight of my evening. lol.
