This is one of the most enjoyable cakes I have made. My granddaughter designed it all herself and my job was to try and do justice to it! Gluten free sponge cake with yellow and blue checkerboard design inside. She was so thrilled with the result and refused to cut it for days and kept the top layer. What a little love she is as you can see .. :) xx
