My client brought me a photo in which this cake was finished with fondant and hand painted. This cake has been iced with American buttercream and has been hand painted with Americolor Airbrush colors mixed with lemon extract. I enjoy painting on cakes, but from a design stand point, this one was tough. There are no borders for flowers to hid any flaws leaving very little room for error.
