Animal tower cake

This is a cake for a 10 year old girl that loves, pink, purple, animals and wants to be a vet. This was the brief I was given by the mum, and told to go ahead and have fun. I didn’t want to do a cake with various animals standing on top this time, so thought about stacking them on top of each other.
The mix of animals is because she is not sure what sort of vet she wants to be, zoo, farm or domestic, so I tried to cover all of it.

Thanks for all your help with the sticky fondant issues, and as you can see, although I sorted it out, I forgot about the sides being covered with flowers. Speaking of which I do not want to stick a centre bobble in a flower for a while, yesterday was a few too many.

Hope you all like it, I am quite pleased with it, especially the fact that the only non edible parts are the ribbon and wooden kebab stick inside the animal tower.

It’s brilliant Mandy xx We look for perfection so much sometimes we forget there are times when only we know what’s not quite right…and for me, that’s the bit I always remember xx You did a great job, and I love the way you’ve stacked the animals. So many flowers!!! I can understand why you were fed up with making them, very fiddly xxx

Thankyou. The kids reckon this sums up our family, with me as the cow, but I told them it would be 3 monkeys instead of a cat, chicken and mouse.
