Made this 1st Birthday Pink Castle Cake June 29th, 2014. Vanilla cake w/strawberry buttercream, covered in fondant. The tower in the middle is Rice Krispies, the other 4 are cardboard. (sorry for the bad photos bad lighting and it was raining outside so there was no good natural light had to lighten them myself)

My poor little figure didn’t turn out the way I wanted it. Time really got away from me doing this order. I was working on all the details on the castle itself (those darn cones on top of the towers were a little harder than I remember making cones out of card board to be) when I realized I totally forgot about the figure and even though it looks pretty simple, I had to rework it a couple times and by that time, it was time to deliver the cake. So I wasn’t all too thrilled with how it all turned out (had more I wanted to do) but the customer said it was beautiful (shrugs).
