Microbiology Birthday Cake

18th Birthday cake for my boss’ daughter. She is a microbiology major and a self described nerd :-) The cake is lemon with lemon mousse and SMBC with MMF and Satin Ice figures. I spilled luster dust on parts of the cake and couldn’t get it off (I tried vodka and plain water) any tips? My MMF had huge air bubbles in it that I couldn’t pop hence the holes in the cake :-( All in all I was pretty happy with it and I’m slowly but surely learning and getting better at decorating!
