I recently showed you the hand painted detail on this cake. Here is the whole concept.
. The story goes like this… The man runs his own disco set up and his kids all fight for getting him the annual record book of the year for Christmas (hence the sugarpaste book) …. The timberland sandals are his and it’s a standing joke in the family that these old faithfuls come out every year for holidays. (Sugar sandals I made from my own templates) he loves feeding the geese (hand painted) with his local beer (sugarpaste) by his side… Then I added a hand painted portrait of him as well…. Details in these other pics of this album. .
Cake was Lemon drizzle filled with tangy lemon curd and whipped buttercream.
