I know this theme of cake has been done many times, but this was the first time I had been asked to make one and as it was on my personal ‘list’ of cakes I really wanted to make I was very happy indeed to have the chance.

Karina’s friend who ordered this for her said she wanted it ‘unisex’, and that Karina loved butterflies so could I incorporate that into the design, too, so here it is! Everything is edible and with the exception of the ‘cotton buds’ and ‘nappies’ the other accessories are rkt covered; the ‘bag’ is the cake.
