I made this cake for one of my good friends. I bought the pitcher and it was darling…so I painted the cake to match it! I included a photo of free-hand painting it if anyone is curious :) There is a free class on Craftsy where Erin Schaffgen from Three Little Blackbirds, shows how to paint on cakes. I have my own style and method that’s a little different…perhaps someday I’ll do a tutorial :) Enjoy!

I love this, it’s a brilliant idea, your friend must have been absolutely delighted to receive it! I love the freedom in your freehand painting and I’m sure a tutorial in this style would be a winner. xx
