Rose engagement cake

I created this rose for an engagement cake. The cake is buttercream, which was a first for me and hopefully the last…not a fan of using buttercream! But I think it turned out ok.

Lorene, your rose is so translucent and perfect!
Are the ruffles on the bottom tier buttercream too?
Love the way you have used the lighting too…. sigh… beautiful! xxx

Thank you Jules. Yes, the ruffles are buttercream. When I was asked to put ruffles on I had to utube it to see how! Lol
