Originally I planned to make the globe a cake as well, but since this order was on a weekday, I figured I wouldn’t have time to finish the cake since I do have a day job and can only work on cakes at night..
This is a half chocolate and another half WASC (White Almond Sour Cake) with cream cheese filling a Italian Meringue Buttercream. I frosted the cake with ganache.
The globe is styrofoam inside and covered with fondant The rest of the decors are fondant with tylose.
The banner with the bird is an idea I saw from Royal Bakery FB Page who has a great tutorials on her page.
