Every mum recognises a teenage bedroom, same state just different articles on floor! After seeing my teenage boy bed, Jodie’s mum asked if I could adapt it for her daughter. I was delighted to be able to help. The bed started off as an 8" square. I cut about a third off and added this to the end to make a rectangle. The metal frame is flower paste and fondant, with a bit of extra Tylo to give it more strength. Using a template I rolled sausage shapes and stuck them together with royal icing. I then left the frame to dry for a few days. Jodie has a flower bedspread and cushions on her bed, so I tried to replicate them. I used a chocolate transfer sheet for the bedspread after reading an article that said transfer sheets can also be used on fondant. I was delighted with how it turned out. Hope you like it too. Sam
