Mystery Cake

I did this cake for two girls for their co-birthday party. They were doing a murder mystery party. I copied the house from the invitations and made it out of rice krispies and fondant. I modeled a flashlight, poison bottles, and magnifying glass out of modeling chocolate. I even had a light inside of the flashlight that blinked. I created bags of jewels out of fondant and made the jewels out of isomalt. I also used isomalt to create the lense on the magnifying glass and the glass on the flashlight. I included million dollar bills with the girl’s pictures. The co-murder victims were billionaires. I also created crim scene tape from fondant. This was such a fun cake to make!
