This is one of the most enjoyable cakes I have ever made. I had been concerned that I wouldn’t do the harlequin pattern justice but it turned out that it worked beautifully and looked amazing. It was also the first time I had hand cut anything (something i always kept away from because I didn’t think my work was clean looking enough) this too went wonderfully. The bats on wires and the Monster high skull were all hand cut. The doll was a doll which just made the whole thing pop.
